About Us
Comfort food that’s healthy.
We happily feature organic beef and eggs from a local farm. Whole wheat and multi grain breads from a 5th generation local baker. Hand cut, never frozen french fries, sweet potato fries and thinly sliced onion rings. Housemade pickled jalapenos that are hotter, crisper, a bit sweeter.
Our menu is trans fat free. We have many vegetarian options but we are not vegan or gluten free. Questions about our menu are welcome.
Everything from our menu can be ordered to go. On the way home from the gym and sweaty? We don’t care. Call in or drop by for something to take home.
Free WiFi at both locations, no password required. Eat, drink, pretend to work – you are welcome to hang out. At busy times we may ask you to share your table.
Ziggy’s Montrose is located at the corner of Fairview and Taft, in the middle of one of the top 10 neighborhoods in the country. Well known for it’s diverse and eclectic mix of residential neighborhoods, shops and restaurants, Ziggy’s Montrose is walking distance from Houston’s light rail along Main and Westheimer’s collection of antique stores and clothing boutiques.
Ziggy’s Downtown is located at the corner of Main and Capital, in the middle of Downtown Houston. We are 4 blocks from Houston’s Theater District and our menu of healthy comfort food is perfect right before a show. We are also walking distance to Minute Maid Park and Discovery Green. Medical Center workers and visitors can easily take Houston’s light rail and be Downtown in minutes to eat.
